i've just begun the firs stages of design work for my very talented friend and client, frankie mayfield. his new self-titled album is available this upcoming may, and i'm lucky enough to be designing all of his promotional material, merchandise and album artwork. keep your eyes out for more upcoming stuff!

Hey everyone!

I've had a busy busy few months writing free-lance writing for two Toronto culture based online magazines, The Spill and Dead Sexy Magazine! I'm granted access behind the scenes, meeting cool people and going out and having fun! It's a pretty sweet gig.

Besides that, my design school thesis project turned hobby, SHIRK MAGAZINE, has become quite the hit. I've been receiving a lot of positive feedback, and admitted fans are starting to approach; it's awesome.

PRIDE

shirk's been busy working on some new designs for the 2009 Toronto Gay Pride and Remembrance Run; a 5k marathon that takes place ever summer during Gay Pride week!

i've been volunteering for a few years now, and was asked by the board to design the medals for all of the race participants!

here are some of the ideas i've presented so far, but it seems my die-cut of the logo is the favorite so far.
